Test Server Open: P2P Content Shakedown

Hey everyone,

Ahead of the P2P content launch, I'm opening up a test server so you can hop in, mess with the new content, and help us catch issues before they hit Live.


How it works

You log in with your Live server account, the same username and password you already use. Your bank and stats will be mostly cloned across from Live, so you don't need to grind anything to start testing.

This is a throwaway environment. No progress on the test server will be saved. Nothing will be merged back to Live, and the entire database will be wiped after testing concludes. Feel free to do whatever you want, you can't break anything that matters.


How to connect

Download the test server client or Android APK here.

If the link does not work - joining test server is disabled at the moment.
If you cant connect - test server is down at the moment.

Heads up: this is a testing environment, it won't be stable. Some content is knowingly broken and not yet merged. Until release, the server will likely be restarted multiple times every hour without the usual update warnings.


What we want you to test

The point of this server is to put eyes on the new P2P content before launch: quests, shops, and anything else you want to poke at. Try to break things, take weird paths through quest dialog, buy and sell in the new shops, mix items in unexpected ways.

If something feels off, please report it via in-game support ticket.


In-game commands

To make testing easier, a set of admin-style commands has been opened up to all players on the test server. Use them freely to skip the grind and get straight to the content you actually want to test.


Gearing Up

::goodbank - Fills your bank with a full testing loadout: full rune armour, all combat potions, every rune type, food (tuna/salmon/trout/etc.), all log tiers, ores & bars, herbs, leather, bolts/arrows, and 100k coins. 10-second cooldown.

::item <id> [amount] - Adds an item to your inventory. Defaults to 1 if no amount given. Stackables capped at 10,000 per command; non-stackables fill up to 28 slots.

::itemn <item_name> - Same as ::item, just can be used if you don't know specific item id.

::b - Open bank anywhere

::m - Opens the auction house anywhere on the map.


Stats

::set <skill> <level>
Sets a skill to any level from 0 to 99. Works for: attack, defense, strength, hitpoints, ranged, prayer, magic, cooking, woodcutting, fletching, fishing, firemaking, crafting, smithing, mining, herblore, agility, thieving.

::super
Maxes Prayer to 254 and gives a ~15% combat boost (Att/Def/Str). Great for stress-testing combat scenarios.

::superhuman
Toggle. While on, you one-hit any NPC. Re-run the command to turn it off. Perfect for plowing through quest mobs.


Teleporting and navigation

::tele <x> <y> - Teleport to any coordinates (also: ::teleport <x> <y>)
::town <name> - Teleport to a town/zone (see full town list below)
::edge - Teleport to Edgeville

::town locations:
varrock, falador, draynor, portsarim, karamja, alkharid, lumbridge, edgeville, castle, taverley, clubhouse, seers, barbarian, rimmington, catherby, ardougne, yanille, lostcity, gnome, shilovillage, tutorial, modroom, fishguild, miningguild, digsite, magebank, jungle, edge, gnomeball, gnomebar, gnomecooking, magebank, abovemagebank, f1, f2 (wilderness fence gate 1 and 2).


Quest Testing

::resetq <your_name> <questid> <stage>
Sets any quest to any stage. Stage 0 puts you back to the start; you can also jump straight to a specific stage to test mid- or late-quest content without redoing earlier steps.

Stages:
0 - quest not started
-1 - quest completed
>= 1 - quest stage after start

Example: ::resetq 16 0 resets Dragon Slayer to the start.

Efficient Testing Workflow

  1. ::goodbank, then withdraw what you need
  2. ::set your relevant skills to required levels
  3. ::tele to the area you want to test, or use ::resetq to jump to the quest stage
  4. ::superhuman if you just need to blow through fights to reach a specific dialog/script
  5. Report anything broken via in-game support ticket in bug category
