RSCRevolution Game Rules

These rules apply to all gameplay on RSCRevolution. Violations may result in muting, jailing, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on severity and history. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.

Third-Party Software

We do not allow any bots, auto clickers, colour pickers, mouse recorders, or any other third-party programs that give an advantage over legitimate players.

Punishment: Permanent ban. If caught botting more than twice, all associated characters will be permanently banned.

Real World Trading (RWT)

Trading or selling any RSCRevolution item, account, or service for anything outside of RSCRevolution is strictly prohibited. This includes:

• Real-world money
• Items or currency in other games
• Items or services on other private servers
• Any non-RSCR goods or services

The only legitimate exchange between the real-world economy and RSCRevolution is through the official RSCR Store (tokens/subscriptions).

Punishment: All accounts involved in or linked to RWT may be permanently banned.

Bug Abuse

If you discover a bug, you are obligated to report it:

• Minor bugs: Post in the Bug Report section on the forums
• Exploitable or game-breaking bugs: Contact a staff member privately

Do not share exploitable bugs publicly. Do not use any bug for personal gain (items, GP, skilling advantages, PKing advantages, etc.).

This includes exploiting quest-specific items or NPCs in unintended ways.

Punishment: Ban, removal of illegitimate gains, or both.

Illegitimate Gains

Any gains obtained through illegitimate means will be actioned. This includes but is not limited to:

• Bug abuse without reporting
• Farming alternate characters to inflate kill counts
• Any exploitation of game mechanics not intended by design

Punishment: Ban, wipe of ill-gotten gains, wipe of kill statistics, or a combination thereof.

Scamming

Scamming other players of items, GP, or account information is prohibited. This includes:

• Trade scams
• Trust trade manipulation
• Luring
• Phishing
• Password scamming
• Hacking accounts

Punishment: Jail and/or permanent ban.

Staking Rules

All stakes must be conducted fairly. The following are prohibited:

• Character switching: Agreeing to stake on one character, then switching to a different character
• Bug abuse: Using any glitch or game bug to gain an unfair advantage in a stake
• Stake manipulation: Agreeing to stake a specific amount, then putting up a different amount

Honouring Stakes

If you agree to stake a specific sum (e.g., 20M GP) but only put up a lesser amount (e.g., 2M GP), you are entering a binding agreement. If you lose, you owe the difference.

Example: You agree to stake 20M but only put up 2M. You lose. You now owe your opponent 18M GP.

Failure to honour your stake debt is treated as scamming.

Punishment: Jail until the debt is settled, forced removal of the outstanding balance from your bank, or ban.

Event Participation

Taking any unfair advantage in official events is prohibited. This includes:

• Teaming in non-team events
• Exploiting event mechanics
• Any action that unfairly increases your chances of winning

Punishment: Disqualification, removal of prizes, and potential further action.

Griefing

Intentionally disrupting other players' gameplay is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

• Door spamming: Repeatedly opening/closing doors to block another player's path
• Duel blocking: Interfering with or being a deliberate nuisance to two players who are duelling
• Path blocking: Intentionally obstructing another player's movement or progress
• Any behaviour that undermines, hinders, or disturbs another player's experience in ways not fitting normal gameplay

If it's clearly intended to annoy or disadvantage other players rather than being normal gameplay, it's griefing.

Punishment: Warning, mute, or ban depending on severity and history.

Account Rules

Account Selling

Selling characters or accounts—even for in-game GP—is forbidden.

Punishment: Permanent ban.

Account Sharing

Account sharing is unsupported (not forbidden). However:

• Staff cannot help you recover a shared account
• If you are betrayed by someone you shared with, there is no recourse
• You are responsible for all actions taken on your account, regardless of who was playing

Recommendation: Never share your account.

Reporting & False Reports

How to Report

Use the in-game "Support" button or contact support@rscrevolution.com.

False Reports

Fabricating stories, falsifying events, or attempting to manipulate staff to punish innocent players or obtain illegitimate gains is prohibited.

Punishment: The false reporter will be punished instead.

Staff Conduct

Bribery

Attempting to influence a staff member by offering money, items, services, or any other incentive—whether in-game or outside of it—is prohibited.

Deception

Intentionally deceiving or misleading staff members during investigations or support requests is prohibited.

Punishment: Ban.

Enforcement

Punishments are applied at staff discretion based on:

• Severity of the violation
• History of prior offences
• Impact on other players and the game

Staff decisions may be appealed through proper channels. Harassing, threatening, or doxxing staff members will result in permanent removal from the community.

RSCRevolution Terms of Service

1. Introduction

This website and game are owned and operated by RSCRevolution.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY. By accessing or using this website, downloading the game client, or using any RSCRevolution product, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions described herein and all terms incorporated by reference.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE OR THE GAME.

2. Definitions

"RSCRevolution Products" refers to all services provided by RSCRevolution, including but not limited to the game, website, forums, and associated services. The ongoing supply of any particular RSCRevolution Product is not guaranteed.

"Disable" or "Disabling" an account includes temporarily or permanently banning or muting an account:

• Muted accounts: You can continue to play but cannot use free text chat
• Banned accounts: You cannot access your account; any licenses previously granted to use RSCRevolution Products will be revoked. This means you will lose access to your account, characters, and any in-game items or currency. Donation credit continues to expire while accounts are disabled.

"User Content" means all information of any kind (including text, images, video, and messages) uploaded or sent by users on or in connection with RSCRevolution Products. This includes messages exchanged between players in private messaging, public chat, forums, and any other communication channels.

3. Acceptance of Terms

It is a condition of your use of any RSCRevolution Product that you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part, you must not use RSCRevolution Products.

These terms and conditions, together with our Game Rules, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RSCRevolution with respect to your use of RSCRevolution Products.

4. Changes to Terms

We may change these terms and conditions to reflect:

• Changes in applicable laws
• Regulatory or security requirements
• Relevant guidance or codes of practice
• Technical alterations to RSCRevolution Products
• Improvements to clarity and consistency

Please check these terms whenever you use a RSCRevolution Product. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

5. Age Requirements and Parental Consent

5.1 Minimum Age

Some RSCRevolution Products may have age restrictions which prevent users under 13 creating an account.

5.2 Users Under 18

If you are under 18, you must get consent from your parents/guardians to use RSCRevolution Products in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy. We may disable any account if we are not satisfied that such consent has been given or that such consent does not comply with local laws regarding users who are under 18 years of age.

5.3 Parental Oversight

We recommend that parents/guardians should play together with their children who are under the age of 18. Parents can contact us at support@rscrevolution.com.

5.4 Consent Representation

If you are under 18, by using our website you are representing (i.e. making a promise) that you have consent from your parents/guardian to use RSCRevolution Products in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy. We may disable any account if we are not satisfied that such consent has been given.

5.5 False Age Declaration

If we are told by a parent/guardian that their child has lied about their age when registering for RSCRevolution Products, we will disable the account provided we have information which satisfies us that the reporting person is indeed the parent or guardian of that child.

5.6 Data Protection for Minors

We do not knowingly collect or store any personally identifiable information from children under 18. If we find out that any personally identifiable information we have collected is from someone under 18, we will automatically delete it, and we may disable the account.

6. Your Account

6.1 License Grant

We grant valid account holders a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal, limited license, which can be revoked at any time, to:

• Use RSCRevolution Products
• Download and use our client software
• Connect to our servers

This license is solely for non-commercial purposes and is subject to compliance with these terms and conditions.

THE RSCRevolution PRODUCTS AND ANY ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE ARE LICENSED, NOT SOLD. YOUR LICENSE CONFERS NO TITLE OR OWNERSHIP TO THE RSCRevolution PRODUCTS OR SOFTWARE.

6.2 Usernames

When creating an account, you must not choose a username that:

• Infringes the rights of any third party
• Impersonates RSCRevolution staff or other users
• Is deliberately confusing, offensive, racist, obscene, hurtful, or unlawful
• Otherwise breaches the username requirements in our Community Guidelines

We reserve the right to change any username for any reason or take such other action as we believe appropriate.

6.3 Password Security

You agree to:

• Keep your password safe at all times
• Not disclose your password to any other person
• Keep your computer free of viruses, trojans, malware, and other malicious software

You are responsible for all activities of any person who uses your password to access your account. Real RSCRevolution staff will never ask for your password.

6.4 Account Recovery

If you believe someone has gained access to your account, use the recovery request feature on the RSCRevolution website. A valid email address is required for account recovery.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Trademarks

RSCRevolution® and associated marks are registered and/or unregistered trademarks of RSCRevolution. All third-party trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

7.2 Client Software

You must not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify any RSCRevolution Product client software (except to the extent allowed by applicable law)
• Use a modified or customised version of the client software
• Attempt to copy, transfer, or sub-license the client software
• Create or provide any other means by which RSCRevolution Products may be played by others (including replacement or modified client/server software or server emulators)

7.3 Content and Materials

All materials placed on any RSCRevolution Product by us or on our behalf (including software, data, text, photographs, graphics, sound, and video) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not use these materials except in accordance with these terms and for personal, non-commercial use only.

7.4 Ownership of Virtual Property

All intellectual property and other rights in any game character, account, content, virtual currency, and virtual items in RSCRevolution Products are and will remain the property of RSCRevolution. You are granted only limited permission (which can be revoked at any time) to use such content, subject to these terms and conditions.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU SHALL HAVE NO OWNERSHIP, TITLE, OR OTHER PROPERTY INTEREST IN ANY RSCRevolution PRODUCT OR ACCOUNT, AND YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ALL RIGHTS IN AND TO AN ACCOUNT ARE AND SHALL FOREVER BE OWNED BY AND INURE TO THE BENEFIT OF RSCRevolution.

7.5 Unrecognised Transfers

RSCRevolution does not recognise any:

• Transfers of virtual items or virtual currency that occur outside the rules of RSCRevolution
• Transfers of accounts
• Sale, gift, or trade in the real world of anything that appears or originates in a RSCRevolution Product

8. User Content

8.1 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You must comply with our Community Guidelines and Content Standards Policy when submitting any User Content.

8.2 Our Rights

We reserve the right, without notice or refund, to record, suspend, remove, or delete User Content, or to disclose User Content to relevant authorities, if:

• It is the subject of a complaint
• We consider it breaches these terms or our Community Guidelines
• We consider such action necessary to protect us or others
• A criminal act or civil wrong has been committed
• We are required to do so by law or an appropriate authority

8.3 License to User Content

By submitting any material to us for any purpose connected with RSCRevolution Products (including suggestions, ideas, or contributions), you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt, and distribute such User Content for any purpose.

You agree to waive any moral rights to the extent permitted by law. You warrant that you are the exclusive copyright holder of your submission and that it does not breach the rights of any other person or entity.

9. Donations and Virtual Currency

9.1 Making a Donation

Certain features of RSCRevolution Products require a donation. When making a donation, you must:

• Ensure all submitted information is true and accurate (including payment details)
• Have appropriate parental or guardian consent if you are under 18
• Agree to pay all specified donation fees including applicable taxes

9.2 Nature of Donations

By submitting a donation, you are making an offer to donate to the operating costs of RSCRevolution Products. Your offer is accepted and a binding contract occurs when we send confirmation to your email inbox.

9.3 Tokens and Subscription Cards

In exchange for your donation, you will receive "Tokens" as a thank-you gift on your forum account. Tokens may be exchanged for in-game "Subscription Cards."

Virtual Tokens and Subscription Cards:

• Have no inherent monetary value
• Are not your private property
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Constitute only a measurement of the extent of your license in RSCRevolution Products
• Any balance shown does not represent stored monetary value

Tokens and Subscription Cards do not expire. Once a Subscription Card is activated in-game, the subscription benefits last for the specified duration (e.g., 30 days) from the time of activation.

10. Refund Policy

WE DO NOT PROVIDE CASH REFUNDS FOR RSCRevolution DONATIONS EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY LAW. DONATIONS ARE STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.

We will not refund amounts paid in relation to donations when:

• You have been the victim of in-game scamming (though we will try to assist with account recovery)
• You have been banned for violating these terms, game rules, or community guidelines
• RSCRevolution discontinues a product or you decide to cancel your donation or account

If you wish to request consideration for a refund, contact RSCRevolution Support with as much information as possible.

11. Account Disabling by RSCRevolution

11.1 Grounds for Action

If, acting reasonably, we consider that:

• These terms, game rules, or community guidelines have or may have been breached
• There has been fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive activity
• Action is necessary to prevent or stop harm to us, RSCRevolution Products, other players, or the general public

We may at any time:

• Disable any or all of your accounts
• Restrict access to any content-uploading or other feature
• Restrict access to or delete virtual currency or items acquired through virtual currency

11.2 No Guaranteed Supply

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ONGOING SUPPLY OF ANY RSCRevolution PRODUCT. UPON REASONABLE NOTICE TO YOU, RSCRevolution MAY DEACTIVATE ANY ACCOUNT AND YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND FOR ANY AMOUNTS PAID IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACCOUNT.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 As-Is Provision

RSCRevolution Products are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

We do not warrant that you will be able to access or use RSCRevolution Products at the times or locations of your choosing, or that they will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

RSCRevolution is not liable to you for any loss or damage that might arise from unavailability, security vulnerabilities, or your reliance on the quality, accuracy, or reliability of RSCRevolution Products.

12.2 Your Liability

You will be liable for any loss or damage we suffer arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of RSCRevolution Products.

12.3 Statutory Rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Safety Information

Before using any RSCRevolution Product, you should read our safety information. Parents of users under 18 should also review this information.

13.1 User Content Risks

We are under no obligation to monitor User Content. You should be aware of the potential risks of using a service with extensive User Content:

• User Content may be inaccurate, out of date, or inappropriate
• We cannot guarantee that users will comply with our terms or behave appropriately
• You should not assume a person is who they claim to be
• You should not attempt to contact users outside of RSCRevolution

13.2 Reporting Problems

If you experience offensive or inappropriate behaviour:

1. Report via the in-game "Support" button
2. Seek appropriate external help (parents, guardians, or authorities as applicable)
3. Contact support@rscrevolution.com

If problems continue or you are not satisfied, stop using the relevant RSCRevolution Products and contact support to disable your account.

RSCRevolution Community Guidelines

These guidelines apply everywhere you interact with the RSCRevolution community: in-game chat, forums, Discord, and any other official channels. Our goal is to maintain a welcoming environment where players can enjoy the game together.

Age Requirements

Some RSCRevolution Products may have age restrictions which prevent users under 13 from creating an account. If you are under 18, you must have consent from your parents/guardians to use RSCRevolution Products.

Parents and guardians should familiarise themselves with the ignore list feature and chat toggle options. We recommend that parents/guardians play together with their children who are under the age of 18. If you have concerns about your child's experience, contact us at support@rscrevolution.com.

Note: Players who direct abusive language toward minors will be dealt with harshly.

Chat Channels

RSCRevolution uses multiple chat channels with different rules:

Global Chat (::1)

This is the main public channel. Keep it respectful at all times. The following are not permitted in Global Chat:

• PK trash talk
• Trolling
• Political arguments
• Sexual language or innuendo
• Personal attacks

Channel 2 (::2)

This channel has relaxed rules and permits PK banter, trash talk, and more casual conversation. Channel 2 is disabled by default.

To enable or disable Channel 2, type: ::togglechannel 2

All Channels

Regardless of which channel you're using, the following are never permitted:

• Racism, racist slurs, symbols, or imagery
• Real-life threats
• Harassment or targeted abuse
• Spam

Abusive Behaviour

We want RSCRevolution to be enjoyable for everyone. The following behaviours are prohibited:

• Harassment: Sustained, targeted negative behaviour toward another player
• Personal insults: Attacks on a person rather than their gameplay
• Real-life threats: Any threat of real-world harm, however phrased
• Spam: Repeated messages, flooding chat, or disruptive nonsense

There is a difference between in-game banter (teasing someone about a PK loss) and genuine harassment (making someone feel unwelcome or unsafe). Use common sense.

Punishment: Mute for first offences. Repeat offenders will be banned.

Racism

Racism is never tolerated on RSCRevolution, regardless of context or channel. This includes:

• Racial slurs
• Racist jokes or "ironic" racism
• Racist imagery, symbols, or slogans
• Promoting racist ideologies

Punishment: Mute and/or permanent ban.

Personal Information & Doxxing

Never share another player's personal or real-life information without their consent. This includes:

• Real name
• Address or location
• Phone number
• Photos
• Social media accounts
• Workplace or school
• Any other identifying information

Punishment: Permanent ban.

For your own safety, we also recommend you never share your own personal information in public channels.

Usernames

Your character name is visible to everyone. Choose appropriately.

Not Permitted

• Names that infringe on third-party rights
• Staff impersonation (e.g., names suggesting you are a moderator)
• Player impersonation (names intended to be confused with another player)
• Trolling or harassment names (names targeting another player)
• Vulgar or sexually explicit names
• Racist or hateful names
• Unintelligible names or excessive repeated characters (e.g., "xxxxxx" or "asdfghjk")

Punishment: You may be offered a one-time free name change at staff discretion. Refusal or repeat offences will result in a ban.

Staff

Impersonation

Do not impersonate RSCRevolution staff. This includes:

• Usernames that suggest staff status
• Claiming to be staff in chat
• Pretending to have moderation powers

Punishment: Ban.

Conduct Toward Staff

Harassing, threatening, or doxxing staff members will result in your permanent removal from the community. Staff are volunteers who keep the game running—treat them with respect even if you disagree with a decision.

If you believe a staff decision was wrong, use the proper appeal process rather than public confrontation.

Content Standards

When posting on forums, in-game chat, Discord, or any RSCRevolution platform, your content must not:

• Be obscene, hateful, or inflammatory
• Be threatening or harassing
• Be sexually explicit
• Contain violence, gore, or NSFL material
• Be deceptive or fraudulent
• Promote violence or discrimination
• Promote illegal activity
• Be defamatory or invade someone's privacy
• Infringe intellectual property rights (don't post content you don't own)
• Contain viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Reveal personal information (yours or others')
• Constitute spam, junk mail, or pyramid schemes

This applies to text, images, videos, links, and any other content you share.

Advertising

Do not advertise in-game or in public channels. This includes:

• Other games or private servers
• Third-party programs or software
• Commercial products or services
• Malicious websites

If you want to share a non-RSC website, use the off-topic section of the forums.

Punishment: Ban for advertising competitors or malicious content.

Sexually Explicit & Violent Content

When posting images or videos on forums or Discord, ensure they do not contain:

• Sexual acts or sexually explicit content
• Nudity
• Gore or graphic violence
• NSFL (Not Safe For Life) content

This applies regardless of whether content is marked as a "spoiler" or behind a link.

Punishment: Content removal and potential ban.

Discord

RSCRevolution's Discord server is an extension of our community. All community guidelines apply there.

Additional Discord notes:

• If your character is muted or banned in-game, this punishment may extend to Discord
• Discord-specific features (e.g., voice chat, reactions) are subject to the same standards of behaviour
• Follow Discord's own Terms of Service in addition to ours

Reporting Issues

Abuse or Harassment

If you experience offensive or inappropriate behaviour:

1. Use the in-game "Support" button to report the player
2. Consider using the ignore list to block the player
3. Contact support@rscrevolution.com if the issue continues

If problems persist and you're not satisfied with the resolution, you may request that your own account be disabled while the matter is investigated.

Inappropriate Content

To report content that violates these guidelines:

1. Note the player name and approximate time
2. Take screenshots if possible
3. Contact support@rscrevolution.com with details

External Help

For serious issues (threats, harassment that extends outside the game), we encourage you to seek appropriate external help in addition to reporting to us. This may include parents, guardians, or relevant authorities.

Moderation & Enforcement

Moderation actions are taken at staff discretion based on severity, context, and history. Available actions include:

• Warning: Informal notice to stop a behaviour
• Mute: You can play but cannot use free text chat
• Jail: Temporary restriction while a matter is investigated
• Temporary ban: Account access suspended for a defined period
• Permanent ban: Account access revoked indefinitely

Mutes and bans may extend across all your accounts and to Discord.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation action was applied unfairly, you may appeal through proper channels. Do not harass staff or attempt to relitigate your case in public channels.

A Note on Tone

These guidelines might seem formal, but the spirit is simple: be decent to each other. RSCRevolution has been running for years because of its community. Help us keep it a place people want to be.

If you're unsure whether something is appropriate, it probably isn't. When in doubt, ask a staff member.
